Follows, the same routine as the past five years
Of Tuesdays. Like rushing water, I have slowly eroded
my own trench, the fastest way to reach the bottom.
I step onto the familiar campus.
My schedule memorized from weeks before.
See the same faces.
Obediently execute the same tasks.
My restless mind longs for change.
The idea I catch and can not let go.
My thoughts soon infected,
Like water violently splashing out of its deep trench.
Water that now trickles over a different rock.
