As we arrive they open the door,
With greetings and warm hugs.
They ask how the journey was, we say “pretty good”, even though
The long drive made our legs fall asleep.
We finally unite after the long winter months.
We wash our hands and eat lunch,
With stories and laughs all in a bunch,
We go outside and take a stroll,
Taking every step as it goes.
We watch a movie cuddled up,
On the couch snuggled up.
Hoping these memories will never breakup.
