Let them be as dogs,
Always fed and admired,
But born to follow in the footsteps of mankind.
I’d rather be a bird
And conquer the sky like a king,
Than living the perfect life under a master
Where they’re controlled and tamed.
To experience the world with excitement,
To feel the breeze,
To stare at the oceans,
Or spread my feathery wings and fly far, far away
Away from mankind,
Away from rules.
I’d rather be a free bird,
Travelling around the world with joy,
If I could fly and smell the scent of freedom,
I’d rather be a free bird.
