What I wish is that we could be
All together
All at once,
But I’ve accepted
That it can’t be true.
We are separated by
Thousands of miles,
Many states,
Diverse countries,
And vast oceans.
I’ve decided to savor our memories
And focus on the future
Of possibilities
But I know that not all wishes
Come true.
